Proud single mama to the most precious little boy. I’m a Mommy, Singer, Creative Advisor, Coach, Mentor, Writer, Leo… I do a lot.
I moved to Los Angeles in 2005 with stars in my eyes and dreams of becoming the next triple-threat Latina powerhouse like Jennifer Lopez. I spent my last dime on singing, acting and dancing lessons, went on countless auditions and was rejected so many times that one day I just gave up. I didn’t have thick enough skin to endure being picked apart by casting directors and music execs. So I stopped dreaming.
Fast forward to 2010. I met a man who changed my entire life and path. He called me Bella (beauty in Spanish). On August 5, 2011, we welcomed our son into the world. On that day, I dedicated my entire life to being the best mom I could be. I remember telling myself “I’m going to get this mom thing right.” I was so busy trying to be SuperMommy, I started to forget who I was.
On January 25, 2015, my son’s father died in a car accident. I didn’t know how I would be able to live without the love of my life, the man that I adored for 5 years, the man that gave me this beautiful child. When I looked in my son’s eyes, those beautiful eyes that he got from his father, I knew that I had to make a choice. I chose to be strong for my little boy.
In May of 2015, I moved back home to Maryland to be with my parents and a few months later, my mom was diagnosed with Lymphoma. She died on October 30, 2016. I was grateful that I was able to spend the last year of her life by her side. I was also emotionally depleted, but now I had to be strong for my son and my dad.
Why Me Though?
It wasn’t until recently that I realized that part of my life purpose and the “why” behind the pain is that I’m supposed to help others to ascend and transcend. Throughout my journey, I’ve learned that many of the wrong choices we make, whether it’s giving up too soon or choosing the wrong job, partner, or life track boils down to not knowing your Why and not truly Loving Yourself.
I’m here to support you on your path to waking up your awareness so that you can live your best life, be the best You and find your Why which will ultimately become your Strength. We all deserve to live a fulfilled and empowered life in our own truth. Trust me, it’s simply too short to live it any other way.
I’ve had so many people tell me that my journey of resilience is inspiring. I’m here to share my lessons, help, and uplift you to live your best life. May we all love ourself and be resilient AF.
Love Yourself Always,
